North Carolina-based Brixx Wood Fired Pizza will debut in Georgia this fall with three initial locations. Two of the units will be in the Atlanta suburbs of Peachtree City and Marietta, while the third will be in Athens, Ga.
All three will be opened by Brixx Wood Fired Pizza franchise owners:
"We've had our eye on expansion into Georgia for a long time now, but we knew we'd need the right locations and the right ownership groups. Now, we've got them," said Neil Newcomb, president of Brixx Franchise Systems.
The first Brixx opened in Charlotte, N.C., in 1998. There are now 21 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
