Buddy's Pizza partners with local barbecue shop for LTO menu

Buddy's Pizza in Detroit has partnered with Slows Bar BQ for Buddy's taste of summer BBQ menu. Buddy's will offer the Yardbird and BBQ Brisket Detroit-style pizzas, Slows chili cheese friends and a line of cocktails, according to a press release.

The Yardbird pizza is a play on Slows Bar BQ's famous sandwich of the same name which features pulled chicken, sauteed mushrooms and cheddar cheese with honey mustard barbecue sauce and bacon. The pizza is also drizzled with Slows apple BBQ sauce.

The brisket pizza features Wisconsin brick cheese, chopped pickles, and Slows' smoked beef brisket, onions, a drizzle of Slows Mary Ann BBQ sauce.

Buddy's Pizza has 22 locations.
