Burger King Americas has named former Domino's executive, Tom Curtis, as COO, where he'll oversee field operations, restaurant development and restaurant operations, a news release said.
Mostly recently, Curtis was Domino's executive vice president U.S. Operations and Support, capping off a 35-year career at the pizza brand. HE started is tenure there as a store manager, eventually became a franchisee but moved into corporate roles in 2006.
"We are excited to add another seasoned expert to our leadership team and for our entire system to benefit from his impressive experience and operational expertise," Chris Finazzo, president of Burger King Americas said in the release. "Tom will be an important leader and asset in our journey to provide an exceptional guest experience at Burger King, including rapidly scaling our digital capabilities and offering a consistent and loved experience at our restaurants."
Curtis will join Burger King at its Miami headquarters in May.

As one of the world's largest burger chains, Burger King has more than 18,600 store globally.
