California Pizza Kitchen added to S&P SmallCap 600 index

LOS ANGELES — California Pizza Kitchen said in a news release its stock was added to the S&P SmallCap 600 Index Nov. 30.

 

The S&P SmallCap 600 covers approximately 3 percent of the U.S. equities market and is designed to be an efficient portfolio of companies that meet specific inclusion criteria to ensure that they are financially viable.

 

Criteria for the S&P SmallCap 600 index includes the company's status, market capitalization in the range of $300 million to $1 billion, financial viability, adequate liquidity and reasonable price, public float of at least 50 percent and sector representation.
