California Pizza Kitchen ASAP serving breakfast

LOS ANGELES — California Pizza Kitchen announced the July 25 opening of a CPK/ASAP casual restaurant serving breakfast.

According to a news release, the downtown Chicago CPK/ASAP unit serves a limited selection of items from the chain's full-service restaurant menu including pizza, panini, salads and soups.

This newest CPK/ASAP boasts a completely new breakfast menu with pizzas such as Warm Apple Pie Pizza, Florentine Pizza, and Applewood Smoked Bacon and Italian Sausage Pizza topped with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. The menu also includes hearth-fired omelets, hearth-baked bagels and granola, juice, Tazo teas and specialty coffees.

The restaurant seats 100, has flat-screen televisions and a dedicated takeout counter for guests eating on the hoof. The restaurant also offers catering and delivery five days a week.

The unit is the chain's 195th.
