California Pizza Kitchen is tipping off March with two ways for college basketball and pizza fans to get their game on, including the chance to win free pizza for a year.

California Pizza Kitchen is tipping off March with two ways for college basketball and pizza fans to get their game on, including the chance to win free pizza for a year through the "Traveling Pizza Dough" nationwide scavenger hunt and "Take Your Shot — Go for 3!" in-restaurant promotion.

"To celebrate college basketball's biggest month, we're offering our loyal fans, CPK Pizza Dough Rewards members, and sports fans alike the chance to win big and get in the gaming spirit with not one, but two great promotions from now through March 20th," said Ashley Ceraolo, vice president of marketing, Digital and Social Media at California Pizza Kitchen. "With the chance to win free CPK pizza for a year in our Traveling Pizza Dough scavenger hunt or $10 in Pizza Dough Rewards by enjoying classic game-day favorites like hand-tossed pizzas, Spinach Artichoke Dip, Avocado Club Eggrolls and more in our 'Go for 3!' offer, it's definitely game on at CPK right now."

Beginning Wednesday and running through March 19, sports and pizza fans will have the chance to search for hidden Pizza Dough as it travels to 12 select cities nationwide; the first guest to solve the hints and find the hidden Pizza Dough in each location will win "free pizza for a year." During the promotion, CPK will reveal hints to the Pizza Dough's whereabouts — such as an iconic landmark or other place of interest — on Twitter at @calpizzakitchen and via the contest microsite atwww.cpk.com/gofor3. Follow along using the hashtag #pizzadoughlife.

From today through March 20 guests who purchase three items from CPK's Top 10 Fan Favorite menu at participating CPK locations will receive $10 in Pizza Dough Rewards to use toward future food purchases at CPK. Guests can achieve the Go for 3! reward in one sitting or over multiple visits during the promotion timeframe. Once achieved, their reward will be activated on their Pizza Dough Rewards account for redemption from March 21 through April 10. Participants in the program must be registered Pizza Dough Rewards loyalty members before participating.
