California Pizza Kitchen debuts in Shanghai, China

LOS ANGELES — California Pizza Kitchen Inc. opened its first restaurant in Shanghai, China, on July 5, according to a news release.

The 3,400-square-foot restaurant has seating capacity for 88 guests inside the restaurant with an additional 28 seats outside.

California Pizza Kitchen operates, licenses or franchises 180 restaurants, of which 149 are company-owned and 31 are operated under franchise or license agreements.
