California Pizza Kitchen intros new food and drink offerings

LOS ANGELES — California Pizza Kitchen announced the addition of three new dinner specialties and eight new cocktails to its menu.
According to a news release, the Mango Tandoori Chicken Pizza (grilled Tandoori chicken, fresh mangos, mild onions, red peppers and mozzarella cheese on a spicy golden curry sauce, topped with a sweet mango chili sauce) gets a full-time spot on the menu.
Three new chicken items include: Chicken Piccata (served in a creamy, lemon-caper sauce over spaghettini); Chicken Marsala (served with mushrooms and grilled asparagus in a Marsala wine sauce atop linguini); and Chicken Milanese (served with fresh arugula, tomatoes, basil, garlic and Parmesan cheese).
The new Steakhouse Chopped Salad rounds out the entrée salad offerings by combining chopped iceberg and romaine lettuces, applewood smoked bacon, gorgonzola cheese, jicama, red onions, diced tomatoes and basil.
The following eight cocktails have been added to the chain's ever-broadening bar list: Pomegranate Margarita; Pomegranate Martini; CPK's Sun Splash (made with Ketel One Citroen Vodka, Hiram Walker Pomegranate Schnapps, fresh lemonade and a splash of club soda); Appleberry Sangria; Passion Fruit Mojito; Raspberry Margarita; Top Shelf Margatinis; and Classic Martini.
CPK operates 203 restaurants in the United States and in the Far East.
