California Pizza Kitchen rolls out new pizzas for National Pizza Month

California Pizza Kitchen is offering new and returning pizzas for National Pizza Month — the new Cacio e Pepe Pizza and returning fan-favorite Habanero Carnitas Pizza, according to a press release.

• Cacio e Pepe Pizza: Inspired by the classically simple Roman pasta, this pizza starts with fresh mozzarella and Romano cheeses, hearth-baked with black pepper, then topped with Stracciatella (Burrata) and delicate shaved Parmesan.
• Habanero Carnitas Pizza: Back on the menu by popular demand, this pizza which first debuted in 2011, features seasoned and slow-cooked pulled pork, red onions, cilantro pesto, Mozzarella and Queso Quesadilla cheese, served with spicy habanero salsa on the side.

"While every pizza brand celebrates this month, National Pizza Month is our time to shine," Chef Paul Pszybylski, VP of culinary innovation at CPK, said in the release. "We lead the way with pizza flavor, quality, and creativity — where every ingredient is chosen with intention and brought together to create a memorable and craveable experience for our guests."

The brand is also bringing back the seven-inch kids' Jack-O-Lantern Pizza, available for $5.
