CALGARY, Alberta—Comac Food Group Inc., operator of 230 corporate and franchise Domino's Pizza units across Canada, reported a six-month loss of CAN $660,000 (U.S. $508,748) for the period ended Sept. 28.
According to a news release, the loss compared to earnings of CAN $99,000 (U.S. $76,312) for the comparable period last year. The company (TSXV:CFX.B) posted systemwide sales of CAN $58.6 million (U.S. $45.2 million), an increase of CAN $215,000 (U.S. $165,728).
"The most significant change in the cost of sales resulted from the increased corporate store activity," the firm said Friday in a release.
Comac has 16 corporate stores and wants four more by February.
