Canadian Pizza Huts try 'grassroots' training to improve system

Toronto Star: Pizza Hut franchisee Priszm Canadian Income Fund is planning to roll out a "grassroots" management training program at Ontario restaurants in an effort to turn around sagging same-store sales in the province. The fast-food company, whose 484 outlets also include KFC, Taco Bell and Long John Silver's restaurants in seven provinces, said the approach had been a success when it was implemented earlier this year in Quebec.
