CEC Entertainment names Chris Monroe EVP, CFO

CEC Entertainment, parent company to Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza, has appointed Chris Monroe has EVP and CFO. Monroe has more than 30 years of experience in restaurants. aviation and defense sectors, according to a press release.

Monroe will focus on optimizing the company's many productive initiatives including memberships, fun passes, active play expansion and maximizing growth-focused investments. He will oversee the company's finance functions and real estate development teams.

He most recently served as CFO of Texas Roadhouse. Before Texas Roadhouse, he spent more than 30 years at Southwest Airlines, where he ultimately served as SVP of finance, treasurer and sustainability.
