Chicago Pizza & Brewery Inc. appoints Lynds new CDO

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. -- Chicago Pizza & Brewery Inc. (NASDAQ:CHGO) has appointed Gregory S. Lynds as the company's new chief development officer.

"We are extremely pleased to have someone of Greg's talent and experience lead the development effort for the company," co-CEO Paul Motenko said in a news release. "His proven experience in expanding high-volume restaurant operations on a national level will make him a valuable addition to our existing management team."

Lynds combines more than 11 years of experience in the restaurant industry with an institutional real estate background. His most recent post was with Darden Restaurants Inc., where he was responsible for the expansion of all Darden's restaurant concepts (Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze and Smokey Bones) in nine western states and Canada. Prior to Darden, Lynds served as vice president of real estate and development for Wilshire Restaurant Group (Marie Callender's and East Side Mario's).
