Chuck E. Cheese intros 'Chuck's Arcade' for modern, classic gamers

Chuck E. Cheese has launched Chuck's Arcade, a brand extension designed to blend modern arcade gaming with classic favorites, catering to both younger generations and long-time fans, according to a press release. The concept aims to extend the Chuck E. Cheese arcade legacy beyond its traditional family entertainment centers into new formats, including major malls across the country.

Chuck's Arcade locations will feature a mix of cutting-edge games, such as racing simulators and virtual reality experiences, alongside popular new titles like Jurassic Park and Halo. It will also offer a curated selection of retro classics like Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga and Donkey Kong. Each location promises a unique environment with varying game lineups, and some will include animatronic characters as nostalgic fixtures and exclusive retro-themed merchandise.

"Thanks to the expertise of our talented technicians and the successful transformation of almost 500 fun centers worldwide, we've built the operational and creative foundation to take our brand beyond our traditional four walls. Chuck's Arcade is a natural evolution — an opportunity to extend our arcade legacy into new formats that engage both lifelong fans and a new generation through a curated mix of retro classics and cutting-edge experiences."

Initial Chuck's Arcade locations are now open in various states, including Florida, Connecticut, Oklahoma, New York, Georgia, Texas, New Hampshire and Missouri. This expansion includes a unique Chuck's Arcade and Pizzeria in Kansas City, Missouri, featuring original artwork and a full menu. The launch comes as Chuck E. Cheese approaches its 50th anniversary, marking a significant step in the brand's evolution.
