Chuck E. Cheese, the world's leading family entertainment center, is again partnering with Autism Speaks for World Autism Month in April.

  • Select locations will host Sensory Sensitive Sundays throughout April, offering dimmed lights and lower volume for a calmer environment.
  • A national Sensory Sensitive Sunday will be held on April 28 at nearly all Chuck E. Cheese locations in the U.S. and Canada.
  • Fundraising initiatives include Cotton Candy for a Cause, round-up at checkout, online donations, and a portion of online shop sales donated to Autism Speaks.

Funds raised will support Autism Speaks' resources, programs and advocacy efforts.

"Our partnership with Autism Speaks allows us to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all families," David McKillips, Chuck E. Cheese CEO, said in the release. "Sensory Sensitive Sundays and team member training are part of our ongoing commitment to inclusion."

Chuck E. Cheese has raised nearly $300,000 for Autism Speaks to date. The company also participates in Autism Speaks' employment program and sponsors Walk events.
