Chuck E. Cheese said the brand gave away more than 7,500 pizzas, along with salads, appetizers, desserts, games, stuffed animals and more, to serve more than 20,000 individuals around the globe when it held its International Day of Families last Friday with a Day of Giving, according to a news release.

Chuck E. Cheese teams worldwide dispatched employees to hospitals, first response organization, nursing homes and other organizations that employ people on the frontline throughout the pandemic to honor them with free food.

Among the celebrations was one in Kitsap, Washington that provided meals to 30 area families as part of its tribute to the homeless and at-risk child assistance organization, Stand Up for Kids. And in McAllen, Texas, the North McAllen Chuck E. Cheese team delivered a free pizza feast to Aida C. Escobar Elementary School fifth grade graduation celebrations.

Chuck E. Cheese is operated by CEC Entertainment, Inc., along with Peter Piper Pizza restaurants. The company is based in Irving, Texas.
