Throughout November, Chuck E. Cheese's is engaging guests and employees to raise funds and awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, which will help match the 30,000 "Littles" still waiting for a supportive adult mentor. With Chuck E. Cheese's Roundup campaign, guests can round their purchase up to the nearest dollar and donate the difference to Big Brothers Big Sisters, or make a higher donation in the amount of their choosing, according to a company press release.
"Chuck E. Cheese's is proud to partner Big Brothers Big Sisters, a trusted organization that benefits our communities and introduces positive mentors to thousands of children facing adversity," said Tom Leverton, CEO of CEC Entertainment. "We believe Big Brothers Big Sisters exemplifies the values we cherish, and we're honored to help them achieve their goals."
As a national charity partner and preferred destination for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Chuck E. Cheese's provides discounts for the more than 170,000 mentor matches at its locations across the U.S. and Canada, the release stated. This special value deal for Bigs, Littles and Big Brothers Big Sisters staff includes 25 tokens, one medium one-topping pizza and two drinks for $17.99. Chuck E Cheese's also encourages employees to contribute or become active "Bigs" through Big Brothers Big Sisters.
"In addition to the need for volunteers, there is a need for funds to facilitate new matches and support our affiliates across the country," said Pam Iorio, president and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. "This partnership allows more people to learn about Big Brothers Big Sisters and get involved in a simple, but very effective way."
CEC Entertainment and its franchisees operate 591 Chuck E. Cheese's stores and 140 Peter Piper Pizza stores, with locations in 47 states and 11 foreign countries and territories.
