IRVING, Texas—CEC Entertainment, Inc., parent of Chuck E. Cheese's, announced the appointment of Chris Morris to the position of senior vice president and chief financial officer effective Jan. 5, 2004.
According to a news release, Morris is a certified public accountant with broad financial and restaurant experience, including his most recent position as senior director of finance of NPC International, Inc., an 800-plus unit Pizza Hut franchisee. Morris also held financial duties at Applebee's International, Inc. and Deloitte & Touche.
"We are very pleased to have Chris join our CEC management team," said Michael H. Magusiak, CEC president. "Chris's accounting, finance and restaurant experience will enhance a strong existing financial team. We are looking forward to his leadership and future contributions."
CEC Entertainment, Inc. operates a system of 460 Chuck E. Cheese's restaurants in 48 states.
