Chuck E. Cheese's selects new CFO

October 1, 2014

CEC Entertainment, which operates 577 Chuck E. Cheese's stores, has appointed Temple Weiss as chief financial officer, effective immediately.

The announcement follows a search process conducted by the board of directors to identify a CFO, which included a review of both internal and external candidates. In his role as CFO, Temple, together with CEC's CEO Tom Leverton, will lead strategic initiatives and manage all financial aspects of the business, according to a news release.

Temple recently served as CFO at Pegasus Solutions, a hospitality company that provides technology and services to hotels and travel distributors. Prior to Pegasus Solutions, Temple served as the CFO of ACE Cash Express and as CFO of LQ Management, a private equity portfolio company managing and franchising La Quinta hotels.

"Temple's robust background in finance and dedication to providing exceptional customer experiences make him the ideal strategic partner to join our executive leadership team," Leverton said in the release. "As we usher CEC into a new era, Temple's knowledge of the hospitality industry coupled with his finance and analytics expertise will prove to be extremely valuable."
