CiCi's conference draws over 300 attendees

COPPELL, Texas -- CiCi's Pizza drew more than 300 business leaders, entrepreneurs and CiCi's team members to its Restaurant Business Conference, held March 4-5 at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino in Nevada. The conference featured presentations by Donny Deutsch, CNBC host and chairman of Deutsch Inc., and Scott Young, senior vice president of Coca-Cola, along with sessions on Obamanomics, SBA lending, a commodity outlook, loss prevention and additional seminars designed specifically for the restaurant industry.
A silent auction item consisting of a two-night/three-day stay at a hotel, airfare, tickets to a show and a one-on-one dinner with Donny Deutsch went to CiCi's franchise owner Mike Tolleson for $7,500. Proceeds of the silent auction were donated to the mentoring organization Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
