Cicis reaches limit on limited time offers

Cicis is turning its back on the industry promotional standard — the LTO — instead now focusing its new marketing on how the brand offers guests"unlimited" choices, beginning with its all-you-can-eat pizza buffet. In fact, the brand has even inaugurated a spokesperson to connote that idea, called "Billy Buffet," to remind guests that the chain is all about all you can eat. 

The campaign revolves around two-minute video on the brand's online destination, Cicisunlimited.net. The video promises diners "at least" 15 different pizzas at all times, with a promise that guests who fail to see their ideal pie can have it made on demand. More standard media will feature related promotions across the U.S. as the chain said it shifts its promotional promise from LTOs to pizza without limits.

"Because we offer an unbelievable amount of variety, we don't need to use limited-time offers to rotate new products on and off the buffet —there's already plenty of the excitement, newness and flavor that guests crave every day," Cicis CEO Bill Mitchell said in the release. 

The 36-year-old chain now has more than 430 restaurants in 32 states.
