Cincinnati Mellow Mushroom pairs pizza with Skyline Chili

Pizza brand Mellow Mushroom has created a menu item called The Cincy Pizza. It pairs local Cincinnati favorite Skyline Chili with the brand's signature pizza, according to a press release.

The pizza has Skyline Chili as a base. It's then covered with mozzarella, all-beef kosher hot dogs and finely shredded cheese. It's then drizzled with a swirl of mustard and hot sauce. Finally, oyster crackers are sprinkled on top.

The Cincy Pizza is only available at the West Chester and Wilder Mellow Mushroom locations in Cincinnati for a limited time.

"We are extremely excited to bring the new Cincy Pizza to our two local restaurants, highlighting the delicious Skyline Chili ingredients known and loved by Cincinnatians,'' Sean Bail, owner, said in the press release.

"The Mellow Mushroom menu features a Locals Only section that allows Mellow store owners and operators to cater to local tastes," Anne Mejia, VP brand development, Mellow Mushroom, said in the press release. "Cincinnati is known for being one of the best foodie towns in America. There's no better way to celebrate a city that loves Skyline Chili and pizza than with this unique Cincy Pizza."

Mellow Mushroom operates in 19 states, with each location locally owned and operated.
