Cleveland-based pizza QSR heats up fall offerings

Cleveland, Ohio-based Rascal House has introduced the Fiesta Crunch Pizza, available until Nov. 1, at all five Rascal House restaurants, a news release said.

The Fiesta Crunch Pizza is made on Rascal House's fresh handmade dough with a sharp cheddar cheese sauce and southwestern spices, topped with provolone cheese, beef taco meat, diced tomatoes, red onions and black olives. After baking, it's also drizzled with cool crema sauce and sprinkled with corn chips.

"The Fiesta Crunch Pizza is crunchy and creamy with out of this world flavor," Niko Frangos, president of Rascal House, said in the release. "It has a unique mix of flavors and textures that we know pizza and taco fans alike will love, and it's all put together on our signature fresh handmade dough."

Forty-year-old Rascal House also serves burgers, sandwiches, fries, wings and milkshakes for delivery, carryout and in-restaurant dining at five Cleveland-area locations. The company said its growth projections call for 20 units open or under development by 2023 in target areas of Columbus, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Indiana, Toledo, Ohio, as well as Pittsburgh and Detroit.
