Connie's Pizza offering free delivery in exchange for toy donation

Connie's Pizza has partnered with Toys For Tots and will offer free delivery to customers who donate to the organization through Dec. 24.

"Most places put a big box by their entrance and hope people come in with toys to donate. We do that as well, but this year we decided to think outside of the box. We're confident that this promotion has the potential to reach thousands of households, allowing us to collect toys that will make a huge difference during these holidays," Connie's President Mike Stolfe said in a news release.

Both Gold Coast and Archer Avenue Connie's Pizza locations will be accepting Toys For Tots donations. Customers calling 312-CONNIES to place an order for delivery will have the option to waive their delivery charge if they mention that they will be donating a toy at the time of delivery.

On Dec. 24, Connie's employees will combine the toys collected at the two locations and bring them to the organization.
