Washington, D.C.-based &pizza announced it has received a $10 million investment for growth and expansion.
The brand plans to leverage the investment for expansion of its stores in key markets, the announcement said. On top of its current locations in the DC metropolitan area, the brand has six more slated to open in the first half of 2015 in Barracks Row, Chinatown, Dupont Circle South, North Bethesda, Maryland and within Reagan National and Dulles International Airports.
Founders Steve Salis and Michael Lastoria founded &pizza in 2012 with the goal of every shop reflecting the culture and people of its neighborhood.
