LONDON—Comparable-store sales rose 4.7 percent at Domino's Pizza U.K. & IRL during the five-week period ended Dec. 28, 2003.
According to a news release, during the prior-year period, sales were up 6.3 percent.
Full-year 2003 results will be released next month.
The company credited the days leading up to Christmas for the strong results, including a weekly sales record achieved during the period.
Domino's added 50 units across the UK and Ireland, bringing its total count in the area to 318.
