Detecto rolls out new scale for pizza make lines

WEBB CITY, Mo. — Detecto has developed a new, hands-free digital ingredient/portion control scale for the pizza industry.

According to a news release, Detecto's new PZ3000 includes a feature called Lite Weigh, which allows users to build pizzas and sandwiches right on the scale. Setting the scale to zero requires a wave of the hand over the weight display, enabling users to work quickly and cleanly. The scale also confirms a zero setting audibly.
