Detroit celebrates square pizza

Detroit Free Press: In 1946 Gus Guerra, owner of Buddy's Rendezvous in Detroit, started making Sicilian-style square pizza based on his grandmother's recipe. That was the birth of what has become Detroit's signature pie.
