Di Fara Pizzeria to open in Staten Island

Legendary pizzeria Di Fara Pizzeria, located in Brooklyn, will open a Staten Island outpost, according to a silive.com report.

The opening is part of a collaborative effort with fellow restaurant Juicy Lucia, an award-winning Texas-style barbecue operation.

"The collaboration is something that is so humbling ... and when we approached them, they heard about us. They wanted to come to Staten Island and we started planning at Thanksgiving. We're really tickled they would consider us," Richie Holmes, founder of the Juicy Lucy brand, told the news outlet.

The brands hope to open Di Fara by mid March.
