The Toronto Star: TORONTO — Police have added 12 new fraud charges atop 13 previously filed against two key officials from the 3 for 1 Pizza & Wings (Canada) Inc. franchise chain.
Reza Mohammad Solhi, 37, of Richmond Hill, and Farzad (Fabio) Bagherzadeh, 32, of Toronto, were already scheduled for trial Nov. 29 on 13 earlier charges of fraud over $5,000.
Now Detective Theodore (Ted) Gaskin of Toronto Police Service says he hopes all 25 charges will be heard at once.
The new charges relate to a dozen different individuals or parties who paid a deposit for fully equipped pizza stores between 1997 and early this year.
