Holland, Michigan-based Doebs Pizzeria sold out of dough during its grand opening, according to a Holland Sentinel report.
The restaurant was closed Saturday and will reopen tomorrow.
"We're from Chicago, originally," Ali Doebler, co-owner, told the news outlet. "We've found pizza places we've liked, but it's hit or miss. Finally, my husband was like, 'I can make a better pizza. We can do this.' And opening a restaurant has always been a goal of ours."
The pizzeria's opening was so successful it had to close after its first two hours to make more dough.
"We have a Detroit-style pizza that's really a marriage between Detroit and Chicago because it's thicker than traditional Detroit," Doebler told the news outlet. "And then we have hand-tossed and artisan thin crust. You can choose any of them, and we can put any toppings on."
