Dolphin Equity to buy parent of Pizzeria Regina and Polcari's

BOSTON—Boston Restaurant Associates announced it has consummated a merger agreement with Dolphin Direct Equity Partners and Braidol Acquisition Corp.

According to a news release, the company operates 16 restaurants under the Pizzeria Regina and Polcari's North End brands. If shareholders approve the agreement, they would receive 70 cents a share, about $5 million in total.

Over the past several years, Pizzeria Regina made several unsuccessful attempts to expand its legendary brand in a handful of eastern U.S. sites.
