Domino's San Diego County franchise-owned locations will hire 500 new employees across 57 stores including jobs for delivery drivers, customer service representatives, assistant managers and managers, a news release said. .
"We are thrilled about the opportunity to offer both part-time and full-time jobs across the Greater San Diego area," San Diego-area Domino's franchise owner, Dan Hosseini, said in the release. "All of the Domino's locations throughout San Diego County are locally-owned, and the growth and success of them allows us to build on our business so we can continue to do what we do best — make great pizzas and deliver them with exceptional service."
Hosseini's story is one that reflects the possibilities that even entry-level positions with the brand can present long-term. He began working at Domino's as a delivery driver in 1981, then became a franchisee in 1985 and now owns 99 Domino's locations throughout California. In fact, more than 90% of the brand's U.S. franchise owners started out as part-time Domino's employees.
