Domino's opens first location in Ghana

Domino's Pizza Inc., a chain with more than 17,600 stores across more than 90 markets, has opened its first location in Ghana.

Fire Foods Ghana Ltd. is the franchisee of the location in Accra, according to a press release.

"We are excited to partner with Domino's on bringing this leading and much-loved pizza brand to Ghana's shores," Karan Kapur, executive director of Fire Foods Ghana, said in the release. "We are thrilled that Domino's delicious food, excellent customer service and efficient delivery are now available to customers in Accra."

The location features a pizza theater design, which has an open concept interior with a view of the pizza making process. Domino's plans to open additional locations in Ghana later this year.

"We are honored to be building beautiful new pizza theater stores in countries all over the world and attracting new customers to our dynamic brand," Joe Jordan, executive vice president of international, Domino's, said in the release. "We are pleased that now we can bring this experience to the people of Ghana."
