BRISBANE, Australia — Domino's Pizza Australia New Zealand reported a half-year profit of AUS $6.5 million (U.S. $4.8 million), a gain of nearly 81 percent for the 26 weeks ending Jan. 1, 2006.
According to a news release, the 415-unit firm posted gross sales of AUS $176.6 million, (U.S. $130 million) up 18.8 percent over the same period last year, and a comparable-store sales increase of 5 percent.
The company expects to make about AUS $12 million (U.S. $8.8 million) for its full year.
