The Domino's Pizza franchise in Springfield, Vermont, donated food to communities hit by flooding this week, according to a My Champlain Valley report.
With David Casciani, the Domino's general manager, at the helm, the restaurant donated 20 pizzas and two cases of water to the Ludlow Police Department, where workers and volunteers have been headquartered in the days following the flooding.
"We feel that if we do our part to do what we can. Just like everybody else. You know, if everybody did their part to do what they can, then we can get through these hard times a lot more quickly and smoothly. The way that we're looking at this week is if somebody reaches out and asks for help, we're more than happy to help," Cascani told the news outlet.
He also donated food to a shelter at a church.
