CALGARY, Alberta — Domino's Pizza Canada wants to double its current 250-unit count by 2007.
According to a news release, strong demand for franchises has the operator optimistic for rapid expansion.
"Every major market will see new store development in both traditional and non-traditional formats," said Paul Monger, director of franchise development for DPC. "The QSR (quick service restaurant) industry, and particularly pizza, consistently outpaced overall restaurant growth in 2004, and that, coupled with a premier brand like Domino's, has positioned our growth perfectly."
DPC expects to welcome more than 100 new franchisees to its system this year and is seeking new applicants.
