IRVINE, Calif. -- Payment solutions providerFEDChex announced it will provide electronic check recovery services for Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Domino's Pizza's corporate stores. The chain has about 575 corporate units.
According to a release, the move follows a three-month-long authorization and recovery test in the pizza chain's California and Florida corporate stores.
In the test, FEDChex used its proprietary patent-pending product called the Check Authorizer. The device attaches to a pizza delivery bag and allows drivers to accept consumer checks and obtain RCK authorization (signed customer consent for electronic collection on checks that may bounce) at the customer's door.
In addition to check recovery services, FEDChex provides wireless credit card solutions for delivery operations (See "Credit is Due").
