LONDON -- Domino's Pizza UK & IRL PLC said its same-store sales for the five weeks to Dec. 29, 2002 rose 6.3 percent.
"We look forward with confidence to reporting our full year-end results next month, and to continued growth in the coming year," chief executive Stephen Hemsley said in a news release.
Hemsley also noted positive findings in a new market report from independent commercial think-tank, The Future Foundation. The study, which was commissioned by Domino's, estimates the UK home delivery pizza market will more than double by 2010 to about £800 million (U.S. $1.3 billion).
