Domino's recognizes U.S. manager of the year

HOUMA, La. —
Domino's Pizza Inc. has awarded Palfrey Polk with the title of U.S. Manager of the Year during the company's Worldwide Rally Award Ceremony in Las Vegas.
The U.S. Manager of the Year award recognizes exceptional store managers who live the company's mission and guiding principles. Polk has been a Domino's Pizza manager for more than 18 years and currently runs a store in the Domino's Pizza franchise, RPM Pizza, owned by franchisee, Glenn Mueller.
In addition to increasing his store's average unit weekly sales by 13 percent, Polk is dedicated to excellent customer service, his team members and the community that keeps his pizza store thriving, Mueller said.
Polk is involved with the local Academic Excellence program that provides support for area schools, the environmental protection group, Ducks Unlimited, National Night Against Crime and other community advancement programs. Polk also coordinated a 10-store effort to help raise money for a local resident to assist with medical bills after an organ transplant
