Domino’s UK tests 'Basil Burst' pizza base

Domino's Pizza UK is testing out a Basil Burst Double Decadence pizza base, according to a UK-based pizza news site. The base option consists of pesto sandwiched between two thin layers of dough, on top of which rests the toppings.

The new offering is not the first this year to debut exclusively in the UK market. Earlier in the year, a Square Puff Pizza was introduced in the market. Vice president of communications Tim McIntyre said the brand would keep an eye on its progress on this side of the pond.
