Detroit Free-Press: When Domino's Pizza Inc. executives decided to revamp the company headquarters in 2002, they planned to buy new property in Ann Arbor, Mich., and build it from the ground up. But after talks with architects and employees, the goal of relocation shifted to one of renovation.

The renovation covered the entire 200,000-square-foot office space, including new meeting rooms, updated research and development labs and a pizza training theater.
