Donatos adding 3 Florida stores

Columbus, Ohio-based Donatos Pizza will open three Florida stores in Estero, Bonita Springs and Naples, according to a news release.

"We are receiving inquiries from people across the state of Florida who are seeing our brand's aggressive growth strategy. Our success in the state confirms our commitment to focus on Florida and find the best partners with whom to share our success," Jeff Baldwin, vice president of Development & Franchising, said in the release. "We know Floridians are searching for new pizza and while we have been in business for 58 years there is no pizza in Florida like Donatos 'Edge to Edge' toppings pizza".

Including a franchise fee of $30,000, the initial investment to own and operate a Donatos restaurant ranges from $360,360 to $697,400. The average store is 1,700-2,200 square feet and average volume nationwide, per store, exceeds $1.14 million, according to the company.

Donatos has 261 locations in 14 states.
