Donatos eyes North Carolina, South Carolina for expansion

Donatos Pizza is eyeing expansion in cities across North Carolina and South Carolina, which present opportunity for the brand's continued growth. Donatos is targeting franchise partners in the area for more than 50 locations, according to the press release.

In North Carolina, Donatos already serves guests through 16 Red Robin locations, which South Carolina has pizza available in four Red Robin locations in addition to four traditional restaurants.

Donatos has the proven system, strong support, proven demand in the area, and there are strong development areas available across the Carolinas," Jeff Baldwin, VP of development and franchising for Donatos, said in the release. "With our backing and the enthusiasm of our fans, we're confident that local entrepreneurs can build something special while bringing our Edge to Edge® pizza to even more communities."

Today, Donatos Pizza has expanded to over 459 locations across 28 states.
