With a systemwide goal to hire at least 2,500 associates at all levels, Donatos Pizza is launching "Dinnerviews" on Wednesdays, from 2-5 p.m. in all of its stores, starting this week, a news release said.
Donatos has seen "significant sales growth over the past year" and is expanding, which demands more employees. But the goal is complicated by the industry's issues with available willing and able employees.
The Donatos Dinnerviews consist of walk-in interviews with no appointment necessary. After meeting with a member of the Donatos team, applicants will receive a certificate for a free large one-topping pizza, along with a possible job offer.
"Just like we've worked hard over the history of our brand to keep our operation processes simple and consistent, we want to make the process of landing a new job easy," Donatos CEO Tom Krouse said in the release. "We also want to make it fun and rewarding, and we know that our pizza is always a great way to bring people together."
Donatos, based in Columbus, Ohio, has 169 traditional restaurants and 93 stores in non-traditional venues like sports complexes.
