Donatos Pizza to continue strategic growth in 2023

Donatos Pizza is continuing its growth in 2023. The brand opened 55 locations last year, including five traditional units and more than 50 strategic partnerships, according to a press release.
The franchise currently has over 430 locations across more than half the states in the U.S. Donatos entered six key states during its expansion, including Iowa, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
"Our brand's aggressive growth strategy and commitment to partnering with franchise owners that align with Donatos core values have positioned us perfectly to continue to succeed with expansion in the future," Jeff Baldwin, vice president of development and franchising for Donatos, said in the press release. "I am thankful for our amazing customers who love Donatos premium pizzas and our dedicated associates who fulfill the Donatos promise 'to serve the best pizza and make your day a little better' every day at our restaurants."
The brand has plans to grow in Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Its strategic partnership with Red Robin Gourmet Burgers will continue in 2023 as well.

With 431 locations in 27 states, Donatos and its franchise partners operate 173 traditional restaurants. Donatos products are also served in 258 non-traditional locations (248 locations with Red Robin, nine sports and entertainment venues and one REEF Kitchen).
