Donatos seeks to expand in Carolinas

Fast-casual pizza chain Donatos is ready to expand its presence in the Carolinas. The brand recently signed a development deal in Ft. Mill, South Carolina, to bring multiple locations to the area, according to a press release.
Donatos currently offers pizza in six locations across North Carolina as part of a growing partnership with Red Robin Gourmet Burgers. The brand is also currently seeking additional growth in Charlotte, up to five locations in Greensboro, seven locations in Raleigh-Durham and five locations in Winston-Salem.
"This is a great franchise opportunity, and we know that Donatos has an established fan base in North Carolina," Jeff Baldwin, vice president of development and franchising for Donatos, said in the press release. "Our Edge to Edge pizza has become a favorite in many communities across the Southeastern U.S. and we are so excited to continue our growth in the Charlotte area."
Donatos is served in more than 430 locations in 27 states, including in 173 traditional Donatos restaurants.
