Donatos uses delivery-only kitchens to grow in Nashville

Donatos has partnered with Reef Kitchens to expand its presence in Nashville, where the brand already has a location in Midtown and nearby in Murfreesboro. But the company said in a news release that requests for more locations and expanded delivery options around Nashville have prompted it to partner with Reef on a delivery-only initiative around the Music City.
Reef has a national network of Neighborhood Kitchens that it said enables food entrepreneurs, local restaurants and national brands to open and quickly expand their delivery business. The newest Donatos location in Nashville with Reef will serve East Nashville neighborhoods through delivery from platforms like UberEats, DoorDash, Postmates and Grubhub.
"We are excited about this new partnership and the ability to help more Nashville residents enjoy our pizza," Donatos CEO Tom Krouse said in the release. "REEF is a scalable way to grow our business through delivery."
This is the first of what both Donatos and Reef believe will become a multi-city growth venture throughout the country between the brands. Donatos now has approximately 300 locations nationally, including 133 sites in Red Robin kitchens and entertainment venues. The brand is based in Columbus, Ohio.
