A blob of Domino's Pizza dough in a New Orleans-area dumpster has grown to epic proportions, according to a NOLA.com report. The dough was discarded in the dumpster in hard-hit Covington in preparation for Hurricane Ida and was photographed by NOLA resident Nicole Amstutz.
High humidity temperatures, hovering in the 90s, caused the dough to overtake its confines. By the weekend, the dough had fallen out of the dumpster with boxes stacked on top, according to Amstutz's Facebook post. "Dough on ground is squishy," she wrote. The post had been shared more than 2,300 times.
