Sept. 3, 2013

DSMenu, a cloud-based application that allows restaurant operators to manage their digital menu boards online, is breaking into the U.S. market. The company's website — dsmenu.com — launched in June at the Digital Signage Expo in Berlin. The app was developed in India.

DSMenu has teamed with MediaNow Inc. to market the application in the U.S. MediaNow, which has more than 10 years of experience in digital signage systems, according to the release, assisted in tailoring the platform for the domestic market.

According to a press release, DSMenu allows restaurant operators to create their menu boards in real-time and then export them to their display screens without designer assistance. The app comes with options for pre-made templates or custom design.

Probir Sarkar, founder of DSmenu, said the system will "redefine the menu board business in the digital signage domain and will open doors of many innovations in this business vertical."
